Edenton Cotton House Condos Pilgrimage Tour
The Edenton Cotton House Condominiums are included in the 2015 Edenton Pilgrimage Tour of Historic Homes.

The Pilgrimage of Historic Homes — two days of hospitality, history, heritage, gardens, architecture, antiques, Southern food, music and more — hosted by Edenton Woman’s Club since 1949 will welcome hundreds of visitors touring the homes, and will be greeted by members of the Woman’s Club and volunteers, who will share with them interesting facts and details about the history of each home.

 

Plan to come to Edenton — named “One of America’s Prettiest Towns” by Forbes.com. The tour is presented by The Edenton Woman's Club and will take place on Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18.

The Edenton Cotton House Condominiums continued to make headlines in a recent photo essay entitled “The Warehouse Reworked,” featuring six historic North Carolina mills and factories that have found new incarnations.  The Cotton House Condos garnered a two-page photo spread of Linda and Dan Bozik’s unit as well as a description of the herculean efforts by developers Hall and Betsy Johnstone to restore the one-time cotton storage building.

Linda Bozik and her husband, Dan, purchased the first of the Cotton House Condo units.  Linda said their new place is a perfect fit for their needs.  The Illinois natives moved to Edenton after Dan Bozik retired as Dean at North Carolina Wesleyan College in Rocky Mount and they decided to downsize.  Linda said he couple began visiting small towns, including Edenton, about a year and a half before relocating here.
